miu miu skirt: tulip red
My friend Jo and I took a lunchtime jaunt up to Camden Town today where we picked out this lovely Dylon TULIP RED for my Miu Miu bubble skirt. I cannot wait to get stuck in and see how the colour turns out — pictures to follow this weekend!
In other good news, the lovely folks at Truro Fabrics got back to me about my Breton fabric and offered to cover my shipping and handling fees, regardless of whether I ultimately decide to exchange the material. (I’ll determine that after I lay out my pattern.) So my total cost of fabric for the Breton dress has been knocked down to £21.58. And since Truro also sent thread, I shouldn’t have anything left to buy.
Gold star for coming well under budget! Looks like I’ve got some sewing to do…
